    A gilt and acid coloured bronze sculpture, part of a "mantle clock-with-a-story":

    a golden retriever pulls a desperate young girl from the pond, where she was playing with her clog- boat.

    An hour and half hour bell striking movement by Pons (Paris)

    with a silk thread suspended pendulum.

    The other contains the relics of two Roman Virgins, Martyred during the Diocletian Tetrarchy, 293 -305 A.D.
